I would recommend hooking it up to an external monitor and seeing if that dot is on the external monitor as well.  If it is, you have a graphics issue.  If it doesn't, you have a LCD screen issue.  If you just bought it, either way its covered under warranty.

A single stuck pixel won't qualify the display for replacement - there need to be six or more.  However, you CAN return the system for replacement for any reason for the first 21 days after shipment.  Call and arrange for a replacement system.
