Dell 2709 WFP Pricing?

Question

I was just alerted to the fact that Dell Canada has these panels for $599 Canadian dollars, which is slightly less than that in US $.  I just checked the Dell Home US site and they are $899.   Why on earth would we pay $300 plus more, or is it going on sale here in the US sometime soon?  It would be nice if the US site would match the price at least....
