Only if you buy one of the outgoing D-series Latitudes.  The new E-series is not compatible with the older D-series docks, drives, etc.

Ouch.  Is it logoical for me to get the D series, or should I just bite the bullet I get the E-series with a new docking station?  Any advice is appreciated.  Thanks.

I would get the D-series. I personally do not like the E-series' look at all. They lost the professional look of the Latitudes.

The D-series also make sense from an economical standpoint. They are quite a bit cheaper, and you won't have to buy another docking station (what is it, like $200?).

For a single unit, that makes sense - if you have a business that's upgrading, it doesn't - the E-series will soon be the only option.

Some may also want the newer features of the E-series as well.

Do you mind briefly elaborating on the new features of the E-series - or, if you prefer, paste the link?  Thanks for the input from everyone.
