First: sorry for my poor English (I'm from Holland). I have an Dell Inspiron 6400, Vista, Internet Explorer 7, Wireless Network, Sitecom Broadband Router 54g. I have the same problems. Some internetpages will open at normal speed, for others is takes minutes to open them or it fails completely. The green bar is moving very slowly or keeps standing still. Sometimes it helps to push the renewbutton (F5). I have checked all connections and speeds and everything is normal. Is there a solution?
I have the exact same problem. Don't know if you are reading this because your post is old. My computer was running wonderfully. Now the only difference is that I went from Verizon DSL to Time Warner Road Runner due to a move and Verizon not offering DSL where I live (two minutes away). My speed is fine. I go from 3.6 Mbs to 26 Mbs, still the page is not loading as fas as it should. I would feel lucky if it only took 60 seconds instead of three minutes. Have you found anything yet? When I have a day off I will allow Dell on my machine by remote access to see if they can find anything as this is nuts to be paying to pull my hair out and bang it against the wall.
