SLOW start up and other stuff

Question

my inspiron 1721 take about 3 to 4 mins to load up and run, i have updated the BIOS and RAM from 2GB to 4GB and nothing. I also noticed the follwing error messages in the event viewer, please help anyone? I found one post about the audioendpointbuilder here, http://www.techtalkz.com/windows-vista-all/31716-windows-audio-services-will-not-start-3.html . Uninstall the sigma tel audio and webcam drivers/then reinstall and it solved the issue.

Have not found anything for the rest yet.
