AC Adapter: It has to do with how fast the laptop will charge...90W = faster charge. I dont think it would be worth it, and my 65W charger takes about 1.5 hours ot charge the unit (when off). My 90W takes about the same
When on, the 90W charges about 30 mins faster.
256: Sure do what you like...I got mine with 512 because it was a free upgrade from 256.
Screen: it depends n what you use it for...I am accustomed to highres (1600x1200) screens, and couldn't live without it. I am also a nongamer.
