I know abt this problem and nothing will work out on this problem....u can reseat the hard drive and chk but replacing the hard drive will resolve the issue....and for that you should contact best buy but according to the recent update from dell....now dell will assist the customers who have purchased the computers from best buy but to create dispatchfor the hard drive...they need to transfer the ownership from BEST buy to ur name.....contact dell tech again and I sure you should get help from them...
Hi, thx both for the reply, i talked to my tech friend today, he said probably the motherbroad/ or the video chip on the broad was burnt since there wasnt anything on the screen nor could i get to bios setup.
He said i might go to Best Buy and try to have them give me a replacement, i will try my lucky someday this week. Really dont want to go without my lappy for 2-3 wks.

i would say your probably right. Its worth swapping out the harddrive and/or memory as those are normally the culprits.
Do you get blue screened or any error messages?
