what settings have you chosen on the network adapter?

you mean on the energy settings tab of the network adapters properties dialog?
All three checkboxes are checked (translated from german :) :
- "Computer can shutdown the device to save energy"
- "Device can activate computer from standby mode"
- "Only management stations can activate standby computers"

as i described in another post, i solved the problem by removing the little magnetic piece in the laptop lid. Now the I8200 wakes up perfectly via wake-on-lan.
