IT Assistant and software deployment/updates not working
I am using IT Assistant version 8.3 and when trying to deploy updates to the clients which are server 2003 with open manage 5.5, the software deployments never install. It appears right when I click run on the task that the client machine does something as the cpu process picks up a little for a few seconds and then back to nothing. IT Assistant stays at 0% complete for a long time before finally failing.
I'm hoping someone has an idea on what is causing this to fail.

Nevermind, I got it to work. Required a local administrator account and password for the client machine to apply updates rather than a domain account.

Ok, I apparently spoke too soon. The sofware update function seems to only work sporadically and I am finding that I have more failing than succeding.
anyone have a suggestion as to why? I have my snmp service configured properly. I also believe I need WMI configured but on a server that continually failes a driver/firmware update that I deploy it is on and running.
I also have found that even on the updates that do deploy and install, IT Assistant is telling me in the task section that the deployment still failed.
