Much as would happen had you purchased a Chevy Aveo to tow a trailer, you simply under-bought - the 1526 is a budget/economy system that just isn't designed for extensive gaming.  It's running hot but not overheating - just as the transmission of an Aveo would if you tried to tow with it.

It's not necessarily a problem with the system, but rather that you're using it for something it's just not designed to do.  It's a budget, basic system - not a gaming machine.

It surpassed the recommended specs though. And it does lag when surfing, etc. It's slow in general. Even right now, with a game minimized I'm at 77c.

That's not unreasonable for that game.  You can try a laptop cooler, or reduce the intensity of the video settings, but you'll never overcome the fact that you're simply pushing the system beyond what it was designed to do.

Yes, it's a budget system and while the system may meet the minimum specs for the game, it's not designed for hours of displaying high performance video - that's a demanding game, and the video chip in the system is not a high performance video chip.

You're overtaxing the system - if it runs normally doing Internet or office applications, that's certainly the case.  It just isn't designed for doing what you are trying to do with it.

I made sure that when I purchased the system that it would run the games I needed it too. It was not exactly a budget system ($800 is budget?), and has duo core, 1235 amd video card with 2 gigs of ram. That exceeds the recommended specs for the game I'm running (world of warcraft). I purchased the laptop soley based on these stats, which it is not preforming up too.
