Without knowing which model computer you have and which version of Windows you are running, it is going to be very difficult, if not impossible, to help you.
When I turn on my computer i have to reinstall my sierra wireless drivers to connect to the web. Sierra wireless support says my BIOS looks to old. I tried the card on a newer computer and it did work. I went to dells site but did not see anything that could help me as far as downloads. My computer is a dimension 3000 and I am using winows xp.

I would just flash your BIOS to the latest version. You know you have a problem. Doing nothing about it isn't going to help. Just be sure to back up your data first.
I'm not sure which BIOS version you are running now, as you don't specify it in your post, but the latest version, available on our support site, is
version A03.
