derekku59,

Since the operating system was re-installed did you remember to go to drivers and downloads, enter your service tag(DO NOT POST SERVICE TAG here or your post will get deleted, since it contains your personal information), and install these drivers in this order.

Desktop System Software or Notebook System Software
Chipset or SMBus driver
Processor Driver (if applicable)
Video
Audio (sound)
Input Drivers (keyboard/mouse)
Modem
Network Card

Sorry that it took me so long to get back.

Rick, sorry if i was unclear before. My operating system was never re-installed, but i did have my RAM stick replaced because it wasn't working. I have re-installed those drivers, though, and still the wireless card doesn't work at all.

The icon for the Wireless Configuration Utility shows in my control pannel, but when you click on it, the mouse does the loading icon then nothing happened.

Also, i don't know if this is related or not, but in trying to fix this problem i have found in my Divice Manager that i have an uknown device and when i connect my computer to the internet through an ethernet cable it says that driver software for this divice can not be found.

Again, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
