:^/ Dell batteries don't last forever. It seems that yours has reached the end of its useful lifespan, and that you'll need to get another one. If the laptop works without any battery, then you know it's not time to replace the laptop....
i dont know but my insperon wont charge at all. it didnt warn me or anything. I think there's something wrong with the chargeing port thingy. if you know how to fix PLEASE tell me.:emotion-1:
:^/ Without havinng it to hand to examine it, my only recommendation can be to try cleaning the contacts with a Q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol. That should insure good enough contact to send a charge, though it remains to be seen whether your battery is new enough to respond well.

Thanks for the info. I think it is the battery. The laptop works with the power cord.
