Drivers

Hi there, I re-installed Win XP on my DELL LATITUDE D630 Notebook and some drivers are still missing. I have this yellow mark on Device Manager stating these drivers aremissing: Other devices: ? Data Interface ? Data Interface ? Ethernet Controller ? Modem Device on High Definition Audio Bus ? Network Controller ? SM Bus Controller ? USB Device All total to seven (7) ... Data Interface are (2). Can someone please kindly tell me the drivers to download for these. Thanks and regards, Texas!

Hi Rick, Thanks for your reply. Actually, the factory installed OS on the machine is Win Vista but I re-installed Win XP and downloaded some of the drivers but what I actually need is the specific code name of the drivers I listed so I can download those I need. It's a lot in there and I dont know which is which. Any help regarding this please? Regards.

Creems,

Since the operating system was re-installed did you remember to go to drivers and downloads, enter your service tag(DO NOT POST SERVICE TAG here or your post will get deleted, since it contains your personal information), and install these drivers in this order.

Desktop System Software or Notebook System Software
Chipset or SMBus driver
Processor Driver (if applicable)
Video
Audio (sound)
Input Drivers (keyboard/mouse)
Modem
Network Card

The installation of updates or systems does not always go as planned. You may get stuck in front of an error code during the installation of Windows. The error you encountered is caused by a large number of outdated drivers existing in your system. You may seek for a reliable driver update software in order to bring up-to-date all the outdated or missing drivers on Windows. I suggest you this link as it might help you: https://www.techpout.com/best-driver-updater-software-for-windows/

You can update the drivers yourself by checking the websites of hardware manufacturers, or you can use special programs, which are called driver updaters. They can automatically download new drivers from the Internet and install them with minimal user interaction. And if you are questioning where to get free driver updater, the look at this article where you will find the list of completely free driver updater for Windows .
