1607 Unable to install

Question

I am trying to install a program I purchased from Taunton Publishing which is a compliation of 15 years of their Fine Cooking magazine.  I get the following error each time '1607 Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime'.  I don't know what this means nor how to make the program work.  Is there anyone that can help me with this?  I am open to suggestions and would really like to use this program but need to get it installed first.  In case you haven't figured it out, I am not all that computer literate and would appreciate help. Thanks barb

See THIS Microsoft article on the problem and it includes a fix.  BTW. I found this by doing a google search on your error, 1607 Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime.
