What video driver did you download? THIS is the Dell ATI video driver for Widows XP and the one you should use.
What do you mean by "destroyed" ? That the icons have moved to a different location on the screen? or that the screen resolution has changed? Both of these can happen with ANY video update and you will have to go back and manually adjust the resolution or rearrange the icons.
yes i did download the dell ATI driver for win xp. The problem is not the resolution because you wont see anything from the display. a friend of mine told me that maybe my built in video card are already damaged.
A driver will not "destroy" a video card or chip. Do you get any Video at all on initial boot up and before Windows starts? If you do, use the F8 and then start Windows in safe mode and see if can see the video. If that works OK, try the driver Rollback in the Device Manager for the Video.
Why did you update the Video? was it not working or not working correctly?
