Ah gee, I'm sorry I'm not experienced to do the (I'm sure simple) things you all take for granted but I don't. I have a 6yr old dell given to me with no manual or instructions and no one to teach me and I'm slowly trying to learn the best I can.  Please understand that.  On advice fm Joe53 in virus and spyware dis. I came here.  I downloaded  and installed and ran HJT, the results came up on notepad, I clicked analyze this; that worked but I'm supposed to 'copy and paste' that here and I DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THAT.  The problem is IE locking up on me frequently "not responding" I've tried many anti virus/spyware programs as per Joe53's advice, even moved up from IE6 to IE7.  Joe53 sent me here, I did read your post " please read this before......", I even printed it out.  I just can't copy and paste the logfile.

Using HijackThis, after you run Scan and Save log, while Notpad is open, go up to Edit. Click Select All.

Next, right-click Copy.

Following that, open this topic to reply and right-click Paste.
