Make sure the memory modules are seated properly. If the beeps continue, it's likely a video failure.

i tried to do that several times. i had problem once before and got fixed cause ram modules not seated properly.but no this time. :(
if its a video failure what am i supposed to do now?
andi think backup discs wont help here.
Since it does sound like a video failure, call Dell - they'll replace the mainboard under the extended warranty program.

I called them and they replaced my mainboard.
No problems now. I am extremely impressed with the service.
