Thanks for the reply. But in looking where all the connectors are on my Inspiron 1545, they don't seem to line up with views of the board layout. I'll have to look inside to see if I can see the board better. You may be correct on the information, it's just not jumping out at me as a perfect match at the moment.

The system is Socket P and uses the PGA format CPU (the BGA format mobiles are soldered to the board, not socketed).
