Why don't you simply download and install the latest Quadro driver from the Dell Support site?

fortunately I know this since I am running ( or trying to) Solidworks 2008 with upgraded drivers etc. the memory allocation of nvidia is corrupting memory allocate dby vista and thus crashes the system with the BSOD. and if you look at Nvidia's wesite,,,,,,,,,you will find no drivers anymore for the FX2500M, all the other are there 1550, 3500 16 37 38 you name it. Please trust me that I went through a lot of testing and researching prior to my comments and questions.

One person actully gave me workable links and websites to look at, not advise where to use the card-laptop for or not.

Thanks anyway for trying to assist me. all help is welcomed and read.
