my quess its the second , smaller one that you are linked too....i have not seen the large one used in any of my dells....here is a site with listed pc-mini cards for your lattitude d630, and they are all the smallere form factor

Thanks for the links- most helpful and you are right- it is the PCI-Express form factor. I found the AR5005 superG chipset in the mPCI-E at OxfordTec in the UK and ordered two since I got my wife and daughter D630s and use the DLink DI-624 wireless router.

I use the older mPCI for my old Inspirion 4000 and 4150 and they work like champs- even have any Ubuntu Linux OS working on one.

atheros cards are something i look for also...believe they work great with linux....good luck
