1. The screen I received is a Samsung 15.4" WXGA LTN154X3-LOD. I have googled this model number, but can't find a "compatibility" list as such. Connections match up etc... but I suppose that doesn't mean much at the end of the day.
How can I diagnose whether it is a mainboard problem as opposed to a faulty inverter?

1. Could be. Verify with the seller that the screen was shipped in a 6000 - LCD panels are not universally interchangeable.
