also what is the color and condition of your power button light?
If you are comfortable working inside your systm open it up and remove all the ram sticks. Next take one stick and place it into slot #1 the slot closest to the processor and power on the system. note your indications. Then remove that stick and repeat with the next stick. Do this for all the sticks you have installed.

I reseated the memory modules and now all is well.
Sorry about the service tag. Just joined and this was my first post.
Guess I didn't read the TOS agreement closely enough
