Try posting your question on the Laptop General Hardware Board for a better chance at getting an answer specific to your situation. You might get an answer on this board (this is the Laptop Audio Board) but more eyes might see your post on the other board.

Hi Henning,
I'm not sure if you followed this up in another forumn but did you get it resolved?
I have the same problem and spent alot of time on the phone with a technical person who told me to take the modem out ...this didnt work :-(
Next thing I've seen is dodgy ram ...sound like just another thing to try though.
Please let me know how you got on.
