When I click on the picture it says, The website cannot be found?

Post a picture of the issue here
Provide the following information in your post -
* The issue as you understand it = Red tint around Fonts
* The link to the picture =
* Operating System =
* Monitor 20 digit Serial PPID number =
* Monitor ports tested =
* Video card =
* Video card ports tested =
* Have you updated the video card driver? If not, load the latest video card driver and retest
* Is the monitor listed in the Device Manager under Monitors? If not, load the monitor driver and retest

Operating System: Windows Vista

DVI And Analog: Both have the same issue

Video card:nvidia 8800gt

bioth dvi ports on video card show the same result.

yes to the latest release of july 21 dated drivers

yes, this is the first thing i did, loading the monitor drivers.

Chris, i am referring to the overcoloured red text , please check this image, i rounded off  for your better understanding of the issue.its not the tint but the overlapped colour around the text.

FYI, its rev A00 and i bought this monitor two months back

I just don't see it. Do you see it when in safemode? If yes, get the monitor replaced. If not, this is a video card driver or video card issue.

Dear Oscars2209,

I was having the same trouble with my monitor too. The solution is provided by the Dell phone support in Sweden. Here are the steps to do: 

1) If you run Vista, go to Personalize/Window Color and Appearance/Effects.

2) Select "Standard" method to smooth edges of screen fonts instead of "ClearType".

3) Press OK/Apply. That's it!!! The text looks sharp and consistent now.

They fixed it in a second or two. Good job! No need to replace monitor...
