No one knows if it is compatible yet.  In theory it should be (though it may involve using the i8600 BIOS).  Dell probably will not offer it for the D800 though so you would have to do an aftermarket upgrade (ie, purchase the part from Dell spare parts and test it out, or wait for someone else to test it out).  The Latitude line is Dell's business line and businesses generally don't care about the latest hardware, rather, they want to be able to purchase the same hardware in a given system for 18 months without any upgrades or newer hardware.

I should also mention that if you use the i8600 BIOS for a D800, you will probably lose being able to use the powered USB port on the Latitude and you will definately lose the ability to dock to a D-Dock (the full-sized docking station with a PCI slot in it).  So, basically, the i8600 BIOS would turn your D800 into an i8600, so you may as well buy an i8600 to start with (if you need to use the i8600 BIOS on the D800 to use the M10).
