From what country was the purchase made?

Thanks for replying Chris M.

The monitor was purchased at Israel of course in a store named Skypc.
I have made a thread in some Israeli hardware forum and they told me that there is no reason why I should get a new revision especially because it's actually to replace physical hardware. I really hope it's not true because I have spent a lot of money on that monitor and I dont think that the insane input lag is what I should receive.

Reseller Monitor Warranty policy -

Contact the reseller and get his Dell order number for the monitor. That order number will tell us if he bought the standard monitor warranty. If he paid for the warranty, we can transfer the monitor warranty into your name. If he cannot provide a Dell order number, he most likely did not buy the warranty coverage and bought them from us in as is condition. You will need to go through Dell Support for your country. There is a drop down to change the country.

Hi Chris M.

Could the reseller still have the Dell order number if I bought the monitor at June 2008?

I would hope they would archive their purchase records.

Without the original Dell order number, we cannot verify they purchased a warranty. My advice is to contact them and see if they will exchange your monitor.

The reseller? they won't, they really don't care.
They said that if any problems occurs then Dell support in Israel are responsible for helping, so I am gonna call them tomorrow with service tag.
