Hi,
I had the same problem and I followed exactly your advice, I downloaded the R196531 driver and I installed it BUT it didn't work.
What's wrong?
I've got a studio XPS with win7 (64 Bits)
the unknown hardware is the ACPI\ITE8708.
Please help!!!

i'm having the same problem too, the driver in the link does not work for win 7
any suggestions?

You need driver R227772. Make sure you download the proper one for your OS.
