Hiya Robert, Sorry I am not too good with PC's and the internet so I am posting this.
It is as I said... I ordered a USB External Modem on 3rd December. I needed it for my laptop because I was coming from the UK to Ireland on 30th Sptembeer and I knew that I would only be able to get online with dial up.I Thought I had allowed plenty of time.
When I checked how my order was progressing it said it would be delivered on or before 14th September. It did not arrive and the date was changed to 1st October, which was very inconvenient for me because it would now have to be posted on to me.and I would not be able to get on the internet whern I arrived in Ireland.. The order was STILL in phase 1.... Order being processed
I contacted customer support by email. It was inmpossible to get through on the phone.
I received platitudes from them. They did not even read my email and they gave me no additional information. After one or 2 more emails they said it was with the carrier.... but it never arrived.
When 1st October came, the 'progress of my order' was STILL in phase 1 and the date had been changed to 14th October.
Meanwhile , on 26th September, The money was deducted from my bank account!
I have, of course, contacted customer support again, but I have only received more patronising uninformative replies, one of which said that they do not take the money until the order is delivered.... this is in reply to an email in which I stated that the money had been taken from my bank account.
They are only there to create delaying tactics and now I have doubts as to wether the item will ever be delivered because they have lied to me on several occasions.
I cannot get online at all at home because of them. I have to travel into town.
Sorry this is so long, maybe you can advise me on how to proceed.
