This is what I got. Apparently, I can't start the application because something is missing? I'm guessing thats the drivers, but isn't that why im installing it??

Ah, forgot about the Dell Download Manager because I have it disabled. On the screen that appears before the image you posted choose the option that says something like 'download using web browser.' That will return the normal driver download page functionality instead of the site trying to use that application.

The_Namek, I know what you're talking about, I've seen this option before, but I can't seem to get to it.

Also, the installation disks will only install if I'm using Windows 2000 or XP, not Vista Business... I wouldn't have upgraded if I had known!!:emotion-12:

One of my tech savvy friends told me about this program called Driver Magician. I tried it, and it showed me the driver that mysteriously vanished... and it saved the Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset Family. The problem is, the whole video section in the Device Manager is gone.. So what should I do with this newly recovered file? (I scanned for viruses so no worries)

Well, now I can close my laptop and open it again and it works just fine. But I'm still going to install the Dell Notebook System Software to be safe. I'll let you know if anything changes. Thanks for the help! I really appreciate it!
