I spoke to my sales rep about this, as I was curious as well.
He put me in touch with someone from the networking group, who said that the 6200 series firmware with SFlow is scheduled to be released in early January (2010). They also mentioned that they did intend on bringing SFlow to some other series switches in the future, but it sounded like it would be a while (a year or more).
They must be close (for the 6200), as they have the documentation all prepped, but not linked to the "official" docs yet:
Has anyone heard anything new on this? I still don't see any new firmware for the 6200 series switches. I'm on the latest released FW and there's no sFlow commands available.
Okay, yeah, you're right, it's not available yet. You must be using firmware version 2.2.0.3. It's definitely in the works though. Hopefully it gets released soon. With a major enhancement like this, they usually go from one major version to another, so it'll probably be a 3.0.0.x version of firmware....

According to this site, the 6200 and 8200 series sFlow now:

It's a good tool, too. I've used that one and Scrutinizer (with Netflow) quite a bit and they both work well.

Hello,
Has anyone heard anything new on this? I still don't see any new firmware for the 6200 series switches. I'm on the latest released FW and there's no sFlow commands available.
Thanks!
