Thanks for the feedback in this thread, I took a chance on one in the hope that the issue might be resolved, I'm just in the process of returning a REV A01 mfg in Czech, Feb 10. I'm going to get refund and start the search again, probably with a NEC 24" or maybe even a u2711 - I do like the Dell package.
I know this is not the correct forum for this, but I cannot find the answer I need anywhere here, I have purchased a dell monitor 1907fpv and when I go to download drivers for it- the exe file is not in the zip. I have tried many times and still the same result. Any help you can provide?
We just picked up 3 Dell U2410's during the Days of Deals sale, hoping that these issues were either overstated, resolved or perhaps I'd just get lucky.
However, that's not the case. ALL THREE of the monitors we got have severe Green/Pink tinting issues and no amount of calibration, changing to sRGB, tuning the gain will help.
Really sad to see but we'll be returning ALL of the monitors as there's no way we can do any sort of serious graphics work if the colours are not accurate from one side of the screen to the other.

Considering the U2410 has been out for a while, I took my chance and ordered one thinking the tint issue must have been fixed by now (July 2010). Received one U2410 rev A01, made in Mexico June 2010. I am utterly disappointed. The green/pink tint issue is obvious. There is nothing subtle about the green/pink at all. How can Dell keep making their top of the line 24" monitor with a major issue like this? Now I have to pay the local store a 15% restocking fee if I want to return it, since this is a Dell "feature" and not a fault. Just ridiculous.
I had a similar problem. Right side had a pinkish hue. Had Dell replace it (went from A00 to A02) and the problem went away. From inspection, looks ok but sometimes I wish I hadn't downgraded from a Dell 3007WFP to a U2410.
From my first post on this thread, "Because this is a normal panel characteristic and not a hardware failure, exchanges will no longer be offered for this complaint since a dispatch of another display cannot be guaranteed to resolve the complaint.".

Hello,
It's October of 2010 and I'm wondering if this Pink/Green tinting issue has been resolved in newer version of firmware?
Is it safe to assume that A02 versions are ok now?
If I'm going to purchase my U2410 right now, am I guaranteed to receive A02 or newer version?
Thank you!

As far as I know, it's the same old issue with the U2410 and you can try to get a A02 but it's still like a lottery.

Do we know if Dell will replace my U2410 if I buy it and discover it has that tinting issue?

raindepp,
No.

Ok, sounds good. I think I'll try that.
Chris, do you have any 25% off coupons for U2410 to share with me? :)

I'm reading some claims about an A03 revision, built Agoust 2010, which sounds weird. Chris, can you confirm?
