Ah yes...the studio 1737 has known issues with Ram/Video that the current BIOS should resolve. Just download it from here:
http://support.dell.com/support/downloads/download.aspx?c=us&cs=19&l=en&s=dhs&releaseid=R250515&SystemID=STUDIO1737&servicetag=&os=BIOSA&osl=en&deviceid=18343&devlib=0&typecnt=0&vercnt=6&catid=-1&impid=-1&formatcnt=0&libid=1&typeid=-1&dateid=-1&formatid=-1&fileid=365920
and run the file. Your system should restart during the process and once completed your aero should work.
Good Luck!

I had the same problem with my Dell Studio 1737 and intermittent fuzzieness. I changed backround theme from Aero 7 windows to classic windows and so far no fuzzieness.
Hope this helps

Kgdegy,
The latest version of the bios will help with the issue.
It's really caused by mismatched RAM. Using equal ammounts of RAM corrects the problem. It's seen the most under a heavy load.
