Yes,the resolution is already @ 60 Hz, and it shows up on the left when I press the setup button. I have DELL FPW2005 ultrabright has no problem with this. Tomorrow I will buy dual link DVI or HDMI cable and see what happen,
The blur problem has been resolved after I use Dual Link DVI or HDMI, I have tried both of them. Actually Single link DVI can handle 1920x1200 but this monitor need Dual link DVI (2560x1600 @ 60 Hz) even though it's maximum resolution is 1920x1080. The maximum resolution 1920x1080 shows up on left botom menu box.
That was the resolution problem. First you must download the latest driver, extract and run. Then, go to control panel > Appearance & Personalization (adjust screen resolution) > click list all modes > pick 1024x768 that is VGA mode > click OK and save it. At this point, It will occupied the whole screen without black border, but the characters are big. Back to list all modes and pick 1920x1080 @60 Hz. After you pick this one, you would have no black border but the resolution is 1920x1080 and it's very sharp. Sound is strange, but it works. Good luck dvarney!
Open the Ati Catalyst Control Center- Digital Panel Properties- Attributes- Image Scaling and enable "Scale image to full panel size". or Open the Nvidia Control Panel- Adjust desktop size and position. Choose "Use my display's built-in scaling".
Hi I have a GIGABYTE GV-R467ZL-1GI RT --- ATI HD4670. I have it connected to the ST2410 with a HDMI cable from Dell. the resolution is set to 1920x1080 at 60Hz. I have the black border about 1" around the perimiter of the desktop on the monitor (DooM3 ran in full screen with out a problem)
In the Catalyst Control Center I do not see the location/menu for Digital Panel Properties nor do I see Attributes, Image Scaling, etc. etc.
Any idea where I may find this setting in the CCC.
Prior to the above proceedure you may have to reduce your resolution from the native resolution of 1920x1080 at 60Hz to something smaller to gain access to the configuration options in CCC. :emotion-1:
In the Catalyst Control Center (CCC for short) inspect the following settings:
Right-click your desktop, and go to the Catalyst Control Center.
Set it to advanced mode if it's not already.
- At the top left, click the "Graphics" menu, and then "Desktops & Displays".
- For your desired display, left click the little black triangle in the bottom part of the screen, on the LITTLE picture, not the BIG one, and click "Configure".
This part is very CRUCIAL. There is a little picture of a TINY TINY Monitor and TINY TINY Arrow at the FAR bottom LEFT of the CCC menu. It is this LITTLE ARROW that you left click on by the button that says "Basic..." and the button that says "OK" When you click on the little little llittle black arrow (not the Big Black Arrow in the middle of the CCC window you will get the option to click "Configure" Then the following will be available to you:
There will be 6 buttons at the top of the CCC
Attributes
Avivo Color
Scaling Options
HDTV Support
LCD Overdrive
Pixel Format
Under Attributes - check the "Enable GPU scaling" box and select "Scale image to full panel size". Hit Apply.
Under Scaling Options - There is a slider bar to set Underscan and Overscan. I set Overscan to 0% and everything was instantly perfect.

Ask the guys on the Desktop Video board. One of them must have the video card.
