Reinstalling windows on Dell Inspiron 1520

Question

I have a laptop that I have to reinstall everything again and have 4 cd's and not sure where to begin inserting them into my computer to reinstall everything. Can anyone guide me with this. I tried doing it once and my internet connection wouldn't work and many items had a ? under my computer and properties so must not have downloaded the drivers right? Anyone give me step by step directions on how to redo this again and do it properly.   Thanks ahead of time.

If by everything mean the operating system also...that would b the 1st cd u would need to begin with...then the utilities and drivers cd...after thoses have been installed correctly you should b able to which ever 2 you have left in any order...
