You should report this to Dell and get them to fix it. Remember you only have a 21 day return period. There should be no restocking fee if the computer is defective.
I just received my new Dell Studio 1749 and I've heard so many people compliment the sound, but the sound is horrible for me. It's very tinny because only the speaker on the bottom works. Do I need to install something for the front two speakers to work? Or what should I do to fix it? Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks. :)

Are these the JBL 2.1 speakers w/ subwoofer? Do all 1749's come with that speaker setup?
