Its a NVIDIA GeForce GT220 graphics card; 1GB dedicated video memory for lush images. HDMI output for connection to an HDTV.
Windows 7 Premium OS.
The cable is plugged into the VGA port on my Coby TV(TV is HD if I haven't made that clear), which is the only video port and has worked with a older model dell. As for the Tower, there is no lettering or any kid of label but its blue and a port of the graphics card on the bottom portion of the tower and know its the correct port because like I said I'm using an old screen for now and it works fine.

What specific video card and operating system?
What ports on the video card and TV are you using?

Ok, the GT220 has three ports:
HDMI
VGA (blue)
DVI-I Dual Link
The TV has four ports:
HDMI
S-Video
Component
Composite
You need to run an HDMI cable from the GT220 video card HDMI to the TV HDMI.
