There is a link in my signature titled Parts for your Dell.   You can purchase a replacement drive through that group or use it to find the parts / part numbers that you need and then search online for another dealer, or look through auction sites like E-bay to compare prices.   Hope that helps.

You'll save a lot of money if you buy it on eBay. The Inspiron 6000 shares that drive with several other Dell laptops guaranteeing plenty of parts out there.

It seems that this drive is no longer available from Dell, but I did manage to find someone who is selling new ones on eBay. Mine shipped yesterday. :emotion-21:

Thanks for the link but, as stated above, I already ordered the replacement. :emotion-1: Plus, this is $65 for a used, refurbished unit. I paid $52 for a brand-new one.
