I just tried searching Dell so that I could also purchase the battery. I cannot seem to find it available for sale.

Since the XPS Laptop is such a new product they do not have any of the RAM or batteries for sale yet on the website but I am sure via the telephone you can.

You know that is one good question. I just bought an XPS laptop and it will arrive Tomorrow (with the  federal express gods working on time)

The business office that deals with this answer is closed and I am going to make it a point to call them when I get into work to see if youy can indeed purchase these. I have the Skullz with my order but would like to have the other 2 also. I will ask if these can be used on the 9100 as they do seem to be using the same  frame.

I will let you know

It's an utter waste of money to buy RAM through Dell anyway.

Well, the IXPS has a 15.4 in. screen while you're I1100 and I5100 have 15 in. screens, so the IXPS covers would never fit on.

To all those who want to purchase XPS accessories:

Configure an XPS on the website, and when you scroll all the way to the bottom (just above the price), there is a little link saying "Print Summary". Click it, and a pop-up will appear showing the SKU/Dell Part No. Note down this number and call the sales division. They will definetly be able to order it for you.

Good Luck
