5150 inspiron (power & battery lights dim)

Question

hi all, the power & battery lights are both dimly lit, wont boot could this need a new  battery, same happens when connected to mains power?!! any clues.        thanks  kev

If you remove the battery and they're still dim, no - it's a mainboard problem.
