Research the forums because they had encountered numerous complaints with incompatible Nvidia card with Push2TV feature..........I think they are currently trying to correct this at Dell and hopefully changing the motherboard to support both the Intel and Nvida graphics.
Search these forums for this topic. I am waiting for my unit, an XPS17 estimated date of arrival will be 12-1-10.
Please, what unit did you purchase? I ordered mine with the i7 processor and Nvidia 445 card.
Now I understand the delay. I ordered a studio XPS but with the upgrades of i7 processor, 8GB RAM and 1 GB graphic card.I didn't get the new XPS because of the design. The specs are great but disappointed with the design.
I hope I could receive mine before Christmas. Can't wait to get it. It's a Christmas gift! :emotion-1:

Is the XPS discontinued? I thought they just launched the new XPS not long ago.
I ordered mine in October and it has been delayed twice already, the new delivery date is now 3rd January 2011. When I spoke to customer care they advised me they had a shortage of internal tv tuners which has caused the delay.
She said I could cancel the order and redo it without the tuner / they could ship the laptop with an external tuner instead / wait for the order with the internal tuner next year.

Note that the Studio XPS line has been discontinued - they may still be making the last of them, but that could account for the delay.

The new XPS is not discontinued. The Studio line -- all of it -- is.

From the article: "Dell is trying to change how people think about Dell."
I'm thinking that I wish I hadn't just ordered that Studio 15 - 1558 a few days ago. :emotion-39:

I wonder how long more I need to wait for it to arrive at my door step....... :emotion-42:
It seems a little unusual for a big company like Dell to delay the delivery.
