Error 80072EFE- Windows Vista- HJT Lo

Question

2My computer can no longer receive windows updates. The themes also keep getting deleted and the windows goes back to a 'Classic Windows Theme'. I constantly get a message that 'Host Process in Windows has stopped Working' and then the 80072EFE error message. I have updated and ran malwarebytes and it found a few things. I also ran rkill.exe at the same time.
