You'll need to return the system and replace it with a higher-end model -- the one with the ATI HD5470 video chip option.  You bought the base model, which has integrated video.

You can't manually adjust the video RAM allocation - nor can you install a video card.  Whether Intel or ATI, the video chip is part of the mainboard - not a separate card.  You COULD replace the system board - but that will not only be expensive (on a new system well over $400) but it will also cost you the system warranty.

You have 64 MB of video memory. The video circuity can borrow the additional 763MB from the normal laptop memory if needed and the memory is not needed for other reasons. You can make NO CHANGES in this arrangement - PERIOD. Everything is controlled by the computer.

well then i guess last resort would be to get an external graphic card is tht viable????

There isn't one - yet.  MSI announced one (the GUS -- http://www.engadget.com/2010/05/21/msi-graphics-upgrade-solution-seeks-an-expresscard-slot-to-call/) but hasn't shipped it.  ASUS announced one several years ago but never shipped it, as well - the XG Station.

If this ever ships, it will be an option if you're willing to turn your notebook into a desktop (these MUST use an external monitor - they do not work with the internal display panel).
