Have you tried other keys besides ESC? I can press the escape key all day to wake up my monitor, but it worn't wake up unless I press the space bar, and the space bar only.

   Try different BIOS settings. There are like 5 different settings for powering down and putting the monitor to sleep. Different BIOS settings effect different monitors in different ways. There is a standard for these things, but manufacturers invaribly interpret the standards differently. There is a settings combination that will work for you it is just a matter of finding it.

Thanks.  Yes, I have tried the space bar, the Windows key (per someone else's chat session), and probably all others.  Further suggestions?
