XPS 1340 HDMI - no sound with Philips

Question

Hola According to the F.A.Q. the more recent drivers were crippled and won't work with Philips TV's anymore (at least the sound).   This is also the case for me, as my tv (Philips 7403/D) shows up as connected, picture is fine, sound is redirected to use TV-Speakers, averything appears to be all right but th TV remains silent. The current one is 8.17 from Dell and I don't see where to get the older version (7.15.xxxx). The Nvidia homepage is no help either, as 195.xxx is the oldes I can get and this is apparently the first one where Soud was deactivated.  As I'm not desperate to use an outdated driver... is there any more recent solution? Or does anyone have a link to the old driver?

You must be referring to this quote from the FAQ:
"the newer driver ((8.15.11.8633) disables audio over hdmi, the older one (7.15.11.7684) works just fine."

I cannot find nVidia 7.15.11.7684, only this 7.15.11.7864<ADMIN NOTE: Broken link has been removed / replaced from this post by Dell>which is for Dell Precision laptops with Vista.

The older nVidia drivers for the Studio 1340 laptop are here, but I don't see one named 7.15.11.7684.

Yes this was the post I was refering to... thanks for the link to the older drivers however these driver seem to be for 32Bit Win7. I run the 64Bit version...
