Dell Inspiron 1501 - System Restor to Factory Settings
I have a couple of questions regarding the restore to factory settings on the Dell 1501. If my computer has been running slow, and has many unneeded programs bogging it down, would a system restore to factory settings speed it up? Also, if I do decide to restore my system, will I need any disks? Or will windows XP stay after restoration? Any comments or suggestions would very helpful.

Hi
A restore to factory settings is called PC Restore. PC Restore will take it back to how the system was out of factory which means it will def be faster as there are no changes done in the OS due to unwanted programs.
