The yellow exclamation marks were from some connections that are automatically created by the Check Point SecureRemote software I use for my office VPN. I'm not sure why they showed with the exclamation marks. But your pointing them out made me realize I needed to do some clean-up. So I uninstalled SecureRemote, and I also uninstalled my 1390 driver. I then reinstalled both and the problem was resolved. I don't really understand what happened, but I guess sometimes that's just the way it is. I appreciate your help very much. You helped me focus on the right area, and helped me confirm that there was no obvious reason why the 1390 should not work.

Joe,
Try going to...
start, control panel, device manager, network, 1390 wireless adapter.
Look for antenna diversity. Try changing this from Auto to Aux.

Rick,
Thanks very much for your response. But I don't see a setting for antenna diversity. The screen below shows the settings I see.

Joe,
I thought your 1390 adapter had this setting.
What are those yellow exclaimination marks to in the network section?

Joe,
Glad you got it working! :emotion-21: Thanks for posting back. Maybe the VPN problem was conflicting with the 1390 drivers causing the problem.
Take care,
Rick
