1600 SC with two different Xeon procs
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it is possible to run a 1600 sc with different xeon procs?
I have two 1600 sc 's, one has a 2800 Mhz and one a 3000 Mhz Xeon proc.
My idea is to rip one and upgrade the otrher.
I can not find any jumpers or anything similar to adjust settings for each proc and the sytems doesn't boot with both installed.

No, both procs have to be the same.

Additionally ... it is not enough to simply have the same model processor running at the same speed ... the processor "stepping" code must also match between the two.
