DELL 3007WFPt - Black screen, doesn't show any color or cycle colors

Question

I was using my monitor (30' 3007WFPt) with my computer and all of a sudden the screen just went black, my computer thought that it was still connected (two monitors) and didn't switch to my other working monitor. It just all of a sudden went black.  When I plug only the power cord in it doesn't display anything, doesn't cycle through the colors like it normally does.  When I plug it in to my computer, the power button on the monitor goes blue and my computer thinks that the monitor is connected and everything is working, but the monitor just displays black. Is my monitor dead, is there anyway to repair this, what can I do to troubleshoot?

devdellguy, If the monitor fails the self test, it is defective. If under warranty we will replace it. We do not offer a repair service.
