Latest news on upgrading Inspiron 9400 to Wireless N???

Greetings everyone,

I've been using the Dell 1490 mini-card but the wireless router in my new home is N only.

To use that router, what's the best mini-card to install, and do I have to add a third antenna?

I've read it's best to stick with an Intel card since my chipset is also Intel.

I appreciate any help you can offer. I have combed through the previous posts

on upgrading the 9400 to Wireless-N, but those are three or more years old,

and I know there's new info out there. Or at least I hope there is.
